Supporting the Community

Here at Life Health Foods we believe that food is a celebration of life, culture and community. We’re committed to creating plant-based food that goes beyond being healthy for just our bodies – it’s healthy for the community and the earth too.

Doing good

From the various local jobs created by our Avondale factory, to our work supporting the SPCA through our Bean Supreme range, and our support of New Zealand farmers – we’re all about doing good, whenever, wherever and however we can.

Some of the organisations we support with sponsorship and product donations include:

  • Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
  • Salvation Army
  • Viviana Women’s Refuge
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Kiwi House Otorohanga

Community spirit

We believe that a vibrant farming community is part of a healthy community overall, which is why we’re proud to be supporting local farmers with our Naked Locals range – chilled soups made from vegetables sourced from New Zealand’s best growing regions. We’re working more closely than ever with local farmers to provide fresh, responsibly-grown produce for our ranges.

Our Workforce

Life Health Foods New Zealand employs around 145 people. From office workers to warehouse, logistics and production staff, we’re proud to employee a truly diverse workforce, representing a variety of cultures and ethnicities.
