In light of increasing demand for Life Health Foods products, we’re excited to announce that we’re embarking on a building expansion project. The new site – right next door to the current Avondale offices and factory – will be developed over a two to three year period.
It will add new space for production as Life Health Foods supplies more overseas markets as well as increased demand in New Zealand. Along with an investment in new equipment, the site will also comprise of offices and chilled warehousing. Watch this page for progress updates on our expansion project.
This winter, Naked Locals launched a search to find two Grandmas to be our soup ambassadors. We were inspired by the insight that Naked Locals are hearty, wholesome soups, just like Grandma makes. We had an amazing response, with around 80 applicants over the Naked Cuisine Facebook page – and we’re excited to announce our two winners – Trudy Longson, from Christchurch, and Heather Williams, from Gisborne.
Keep an eye out on the Naked Cuisine Facebook page for updates on their travels – including a visit to the Life Health Foods Auckland factory, as well as their local farms, to learn about the process of making Naked Locals soup. We’ll also be out and about all over New Zealand this winter giving a locals a chance to try our soups – check out our Naked Cuisine Facebook page for updates.
Life Health Foods is proud to introduce an exciting innovation into the dips category – Lisa’s Whipped Dips. With a deliciously whipped texture, made with premium dairy ingredients, they’re luxuriously light and airy to eat but full of savoury flavour. These dips are great to enjoy hot or cold – check out these tasty new recipes with Lisa’s Whipped Dips.
To celebrate the launch of Whipped Dips, we gave one lucky customer the chance to win a Luxury Winter Escape to Queenstown. Congratulations to our winner Jessica Crosbie who will be enjoying a long weekend at the Queenstown Winter Festival staying at the Millennium Hotel.
The latest addition to Bean Supreme’s Wholefood Café Range has just hit supermarket shelves – a wonderfully fragrant Masala Burger made with chickpeas, cauliflower and ancient grains, blended with turmeric, cumin and ginger. Finished with a touch of green chilli for flavour, this recipe is mild and perfect for the whole family. The burger, like the Bean Supreme Kumara Burger which won in last year’s New Zealand Food Awards, has a 4.5 health star rating – making it healthy as well as delicious!
Naked Cuisine is launching three new meal-time options just in time for winter.
The on-trend Naked Kitchen Vietnamese Pho Noodle Soup combines mint, coriander, mushrooms, crunchy water chestnuts, carrots and spinach, and includes both rice noodles and sweet potato noodles. Launching alongside the Pho, the Naked Kitchen California Wellness Bowl is inspired by the California Big Sur and the yoga well-being movement. It’s a hearty mix of red lentils, green beans, butterbeans, tomato, carrot, fennel, parsnip, spinach, ginger and turmeric.
There’s also a new soup launching into the market leading Naked Locals chilled soup range. The East Coast Sunshine Pumpkin Soup with turmeric and ginger is packed full of pumpkin, plus kumara and is naturally sweetened with apple.
All three of the new launches are gluten free and made with no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
